Every Sunday, Melide is the point of meeting for producers and sellers of fruits, cheese, honey, spicy sausages and gastronomic products.
Coles Square is full of sellers of high quality fruits, not only from this region, but also from other places. Nearby, in Alhóndiga Street (just under the town hall) typical Galician cheeses are sold together with homemade meat products, especially spicy sausages and eggs.
